The hat is in a thick ribbed knit for cold winter days. the Inside of the ribbed fold, is knitted with a soft cotton yarn. The HUTTEliHUT hat is made in a Merino wool blend. The pompom is a Fairtrade product, made with fur from alpacas in Bolivian highlands. Every pompom is unique and will vary in color and expression. No coloring is involved - except nature's own. The pompom is sewn by hand and can be washed. See instructions in the care label. This product is made of wool, known for its durability if cared properly: Wash it only when necessary.
